Avery Nox is from Jamaica and sounds like it — but not in any way you'd expect. Reggae meets art pop meets shoegaze meets progressive rock, held together by a warm soulful vocal that feels like it knows something you don't yet.

Sister of Solano Reid, she stayed in Jamaica while he went to Miami. Her music carries the same spiritual warmth as his, but filtered through something older, stranger, and harder to name. She exists slightly outside of normal time. Her songs feel like they do too.
